Gap between undie/undershirt layers on tucked shirts

Hello,

I've been making T-Shirts with a tucked in version using the shirt/undershirt layer and the underwear layer, but I cannot get rid of the gap between the shirt and the undies on the sides.

Is there a secret, or is this just a fact of life and I must forgo having a tucked in version?

Thanks!
~Ari

Edit: I just double checked, and it's between the undershirt and underwear layer...not so much between the shirt and undies. Perhaps the answer is not have an undershirt option?

Make sure your template is filled in to or extended past the edges.

If it was a gap all the way around I would suggest editing the appearance and making sure your underpants waist toggle was all the way up and the undershirt length toggle was set to the maximum length. But since the gap is only on one portion of the garment, I would say to double check your PC graphic file, adjust and upload again.

Hi Maddy!

Yep, all of the above has been checked and double checked. The seams meet on the jacket layer and fairly closely between the underpants and shirt layer....so I'm beginning to think the undershirt layer is just uncooperative and a trouble maker :)

Thanks!

I believe this is a bug with the shirt and undershirt layers. A fairly annoying one on high contrast (to the skin) clothing. No amount of extending the colour beyond the edge of the template fixes it. I offer long upper layers on the jacket layer as well as the other layers because of this issue.

Thank you Siddean, tis as I feared then. While I usually offer the jacket version, it seems that the "tucked in" shirts are quite popular with men with the lower rise pants, and I've had many requests for them. But they will just have to make due with the shirt layer :)

Yep, definitely a bug as Siddean pointed out. Can't do anything about it. I just wanted to say that, while yes, it is more noticeable when there is a high contrast between the skin and the shirt texture, I have found most people don't notice it until I point it out.

I have to stop myself about obsessing over similar details sometimes and remember that unless you are the one designing the shirt, it is very unlikely others will zoom in close enough to notice.

Also...a lot of people who want tucked in shirts on the undies layers probably want them so they can wear a jacket/coat over it...so the little gap won't even be an issue for them :)

You're probably correct Betty, but I will forgo the use of the undies/undershirt option. I can't offer something that flawed...and I'm sure they'll be just as happy with the shirt/undies layer options :)
