I may be insane, but I've gathered from the many threads I've read here and even from some objects I've seen in "that place" that it's possible to put different textures on different faces of a prim. For the life of me I can't find any function, checkbox, pulldown, etc. in the editing tabs to let me do that. So, is it possible and how does one do that?
(It would be really useful for the moorish garden I'm constructing although my visit tonight in "that place" to Morocco left me feeling I should just focus on building a cliff to jump off. There are some incredibly talented people here!)

On the edit objection dialogue box near the top is a checkbox for "select texture." Check that and then select the surface you want to texture. That allows you to adjust all the texture settings for a single face. When just assigning different textures you can also drag and drop them onto the face you want them to be on.
