Sorry and thanks for the help

The image goes in your texture folder, in your inventory. You can then move it wherever you want to -- I have a folder at the root of my inventory, called "!Raindrop" so it stays on top, where I put all the things I create.

The inventory works very much like a crippled version of Windows :D (The interface is a bit... clumsy). You can open two inventory windows, which can come in very handy.

Emanuel, what Raindrop explained was what happens after you upload an image to SL, not what happens when you download an image to your own computer. The question of where to put files on your own computer is not really one anyone can answer for you. How you want to organize things for your own use is entirely up to you.

Every computer is just a big filing cabinet. The disk drives are the file drawers. Folders go inside the drawers, and files go inside the folders. Exactly how you name and organize all the different folders and files is your decision. Just come up with a system that makes sense to you, and stick with it. It really doesn't matter exactly where you put stuff, as long as you're able to find it again later when you need it.

So, the answer to your question is when you download an image, put it wherever you want. Whenever you download something, the computer will ask you where you want to put it. Simply select a location, and the file will be there. (If you don't know how to use a file browser to select a location in which to place a file, I'd recommend taking a basic computing class before you go any further.)

If you're a Windows user, I'd suggest putting all images inside My Pictures, but you certainly don't have to. All that's important is that you organize things so that you can easily find whatever you might be looking for later.

Now that that's out of the way, let me offer a word of caution if I may. In both your posts so far in this thread, you've mentioned downloading images from various websites to turn into clothing for SL. Be aware that all images on the web (and everywhere else) are copyrighted. It's not legal or moral to use someone else's images without permission.

There are sites that host free-to-use images, of course, and those sites will always have relevant licensing information readily available for you to view. If you don't see such a license on the site, then you can't use the images. Remember, just because something is on display doesn't mean you're allowed to take it.
