Ok so, when I'm making clothes or hair how do I make them move?
I made hair at one point and I was told to right click, edit, go to features, and than choose flexable path, the only problem was when I right clicked on the hair it did not give me the edit option, so please anybody help me out here.
Oh and one other question how do I put things in boxes?

Thank you =)

Are you saying you can't get the edit option on a prim hair you've made? Or you get the greyed out option when you go the the features menu? If it's the latter then you need to first check "edit linked parts" on the object menu, then you can check the "flexible path" on the features menu. But, you need to set your flexi paths to each individual strand in the entire linkset.........tedious if you built the hair with a couple hundred prims.

If it's the former..........I'm sort of clueless as to why. You should get the edit option.

Also, not every prim type can be made floopy, and sculpties cannot be made floopy.

Boxes: drag something from your inventory and put it in the contents of a rezzed box.

Box, meaning any prim - it can be any shape and you can texture/color it as you wish.

Where or how do I get a rezzed box?

Rez = Create a new object or drag an existing one from your inventory. To get a "rezzed box," you make it.

Before you get too involved, I think it would be very wise to visit the Ivory Tower of Prims and take some basic tutorial lessons on building. They have excellent lessons, and you will find the answers to all of the questions you are asking (except for maybe the "why can't I edit my own hair" question -- I don't have a clue about that). It's fun, and well worth your time.

Are you wearing the hair? if so, you need to detach it first and then edit it.

Thats the exact reason that hair makers use the torus to shape and the tubes for flexi. You can't make a torus flexi.

You ought to be able to edit hair while wearing it. After all, that's the only way to fit attachments properly, whether you are working with hair, skirts, jewelry, shoes, or whatever. Just remember to HOLD STILL. Get a pose stand.

Yes you can edit hair and other attachments while wearing. But it must be modifiable. If it's not then about the only options you have is moving it or maybe tinting it.

A pose ball helps immensely. But it's not absolutely neccessary. Once you hit edit of any worn prim your avatar stops dead in it's tracks (not necessarily to others but to you in your viewer).........the position of the avi may not be very good for adjusting though.
