I want to add a logo to an object...Would that be a "skin" I need to do that? I understand that if I apply a "texture" to an object, the entire object takes on the pattern...So, I suppose applying a logo would be the same as applying a tatoo to an avatar...Id that correct? I made a logo outworld and I want to import it to apply to a vehicle...I need the "how" (Not only to import and apply it, but, also how to adjust the position of it on the object) and I need the "what", and all of that to make it happen...I appreciate any constructive input anyone might provide...

Thanks, See ya In-World!

Yes, you need to import it as a texture, but also as an alpha texture, in this way you can put it on a prim that you can place anywhere around your car and it will only show the logo without showing the rest of the prim it's on. You may also use the Select Texture feature to place the texture on an existing prim in your car without covering all the sides of the prim (don't use an alpha in this case). You may want to refer to the stickies on top of this forum for further details regarding texturing and alphas.
