Kisto Schreiner has no hair..oh wait, OK Off the silly moment for a bit.

I'm trying to figure out how in the name of the gods to create a fuzzy texture (like the ones that went rampant everywhere in the winter season)

I've searched through tutorials (OK skimmed them but filtered out those that looked like they'd have it) and gone through the seven pages shown here of this sub-thread. Didn't find anything (however now my computer is killing me for seeing such interesting posts and opening new browsers for it...I'm such a dork sometimes hehe)

Well, if I missed something, I don't mind being told "Hey dorkwad, go here and you'll see it right here..ya blind bat" or something similar, otherwise the crazy Kisto will go ripping out more of her hair in hopes to find her brain...does I have mai brian? :P

Thank you for at the very least reading my rant :3

How are you defining "fuzzy textures"? Do you mean textures that are blurry? Textures that look like fur? Something else?

Poor Kisto! :)

If you're referring to the prim fur, then it would probably be the fuzzy snowball alpha channel.

-Start with a circle marquee thingy, fill
- The the smudge tool (small sized brush with about 50%)
- Going around the circle pull the edges out in a smooth motion with the smudge tool
- Continue to do this until you have gone around the entire circle and it looks like the suns kids paint with their fingers in grade school

When you upload the texture in-world put it on a flattened sphere and then make about 6 of them into a star formation (so that when you're looking down they all intersect in the center) like the Linden trees and plants.

Ta Da! A little bit of fluff.

Hope that makes sense.
