I am the pitifully new at buliding. I have the bare basics. I bought a shadow and light kit and tried to make a shadow for a bench I built. I used a cube prim, flattened it, applied the shadow prim, and made it more transparent. It's great except for the black edge. It's like I can't get it thin enough. I've tried everything I Know to make it go away. Any help would be most appreciated. ---MC

You would need to use an ALPHA texture, then apply the shadow tecture tot he top and bottom of the prim by using the SELECT TEXTURE in edit. hth

make sure the edges of the prim are also transparent
think of it this way
you have a index card you color the top red, the edges are still white, so unless your looking at it at a perfect 90 degree angle you will see the white edges of the index card
