HI .. I been trying to make my first clothes for sl avies..for the past few days, I think cutting and editting in photoshop arent difficult but I felt real dissapointed when I finally got my top which was silky and shiffony with delicated shades and etc when looked in photoshop.. Imported into SL, Those textures were being all completly gone. What I see now is , the top with no silk or shiffon texture at all. Can anyone give me the tips on how to preserve the Optimal fabric texture resolution for the Sl avie clothes? Thnx in advance!

can't say for sure without seeing pics but sounds like you ran into the problems of stretching a flat texture to fit a bumpy curvy avi body. different parts stretch more than others too (breasts, sides, front of skirt and such). about the only thing you can do is get a feel for where the stretching happens and make those areas more detailed in your original texture. for example if you got a stripe pattern put more smaller stripes into the stretched areas so when they stetch they look more like the regular unstretched areas. hope that helps.
just thought of something...... you might have done this already but did you make sure the texture you saved out of photoshop still looked like what you saw in photoshop? could be something in the silk texture is getting over looked when you export.
