This should say it all:

Feel free to visit the items on display in Alice, coordinates visible in the illustration.

I've developed a Photoshop script (tested on CS1) and a command line utility (Mac OS X *ONLY*, sorry) for doing scale, shear, cut, and hollow textures on box prims.

Contact me in-game if you'd like to try them out. You'll have to be a rather advanced user to make sense of these, I'm afraid...

Pretty sweet, though it's a pity I don't use either Photoshop or OS X. Perhaps a web-based version akin to the "Gif-to-SL animated texture" tool could be hoped for at some point in the future?

That would be extremely awesome. Though thats a lot of computing power for a web app.

Say, where is this "gif2anim" online tool? :)

I did think about that (and of course further considered issuing single-use tokens from an in-world vendor hee hee) but... mrum, not this time 'round. Vacation's over and thus ends this particular burst of coding enthusiasm!

Aliasi, if you want to do this manually, I have a description and graph to help on my site. (There's also a Photoshop action that will work for the tapered cubes on either platformbut that's not going to do you any good, I'm afraid.) There's a link to it here.

This is the one that I mention in my in game Texture Tutorials, by the way, where I also explain why it happens. So if you've seen it there, you can grab it here.

Well, I knew about it, and why, I was just glad to see someone automate it. Manually skewing iin PSP can get a bit tedious, y'know?

But thanks for the link, lots of usefulness there!
