Is it usual for body shapes, hair etc to be shown as created by "nobody" ?

Every time I save one it says I didnt create it. I own and created all the clothing and hair textures.

Is this from a hair and clothing texture? If so, a friend had pointed out some time ago in regards to this issue and it had something to do with the point after upload of setting the permissions on it prior to making the article. I'm not in world at the moment to retest it. But if you are setting permissions on the clothing or hair after making it this might have something to do with it.

Can IM me later when I'm in world to see if I can find my notes on it.

Thanks,
I'm making an AV to sell,

It's 3 things, a skin textured with a texture I created, hair textured with a texture I created and a body shape.

All the clothing is all fine and dandy ( literally lol )

This is an age old bug that really, really, really needs squashing. Here's how to work around it. Make sure when you create a body part or an artical of clothing that you do it from the inventory window, and not from the appearance editor. For some reason, creation form the inventory window always preserves the author name, but creation from the appearance window only preserves it sometimes.

You might try reuploading the skin and hair and try setting the name and permissions first before creating the shape and see if that helps. I'm almost positive its a sequence of renaming and permissions causing the problem.

If you modify an existing default skin from the LL library it will always end up as creator nobody. Hair will end up as creator newbie_template. In order to have skin or hair show your name as the creator you need to open you inventory window, right click on a folder, and select new/body part/ hair or skin. Then wear that and modify it in appearance. It will then show you as creator.
