unsure if this has been posted, but might be of interest to some of you using GIMP: a PS-style interface which you can read about/download from http://plasticbugs.com/index.php?p=241haven't tried it. maybe someone here can share their impression of it. i've read some mixed reviews. available for Linux/Mac/Win

Well, the winXP version is buggy on my machine and is basically a hack of a hack. I did get it to work and the interface is much easier to use than the standard Gimp UI. I like what I see but it is none too stable on my machine at this point so I can't say much more than that.

Ok, just an update on the problems I was haviong with Ginpshop. There is a known bug with the Gimp itself that has nothing to do with the XP port. Seems The Gimp produces a disk error if there are any USB flash memeory card readers with open bays on it. Unplugging them from my machine cleared up the errors and it seems to work fine.
