Here is an invitation for Texturing Tips to help wikify the LSL Portal to be much more friendly, inviting and helpful.
Now here is my own personal take on the tangent where these Visual Artists can help a great deal on the wiki.
What we need are visual demonstrations to the many concepts.
One perfect example I could pick is 'Scoping'. Another is the concept of variable types. Etc. Just Diagrams, Visualisations, Illustrations.. use your creativity!
You'd help a lot of people like me who had to suffer going through all that dry technical text trying to learn something that should be simple. I'm a visual learner like a lot of people, so it helps if we can visualize many of the concepts, I personally think of 'Scoping' much like an onion skin for example.
Quaternions were a bitch, until I realised how to visualize these, without having to go through ALL the technical babble boos jargon.
