I have just seen a top which is longer than the normal template. The creater used jacket to make the item.

Does anyone know how it is made from the normal upper template? or is a prim used for the bottom part.....goodness there is so much to learn in making clothes!

Thanks

There is an area on the lower template (pants) for the jacket bottom. When you make a jacket in the appearance editor, you put in two textures for top and bottom. Chip Midnight's templates show the outlines for it.

Note that the jacket does give you more length, but partway down on the allowed area it ends up with a notch front and back in the hem, where you reach the intersection of the legs.

If you want to do a tunic top that has an even lower hem than is possible with the jacket layer, combine a shirt, undershirt or jacket with a matching skirt, and wear both to get the tunic-length hem.
