Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, because it is my first post, but I was wondering if anybody would like to take some time to sit down with me and explain how to make a mini skirt. I have asked almost everyone in SL (not littaraly, that would take days!!) and nobody will help!! Please help me, or point me in the right direction of help

Do you mean, a flexi skirt, or a normal skirt?
For anything to do with textures and the use of templates: - Start by reading the stickies at the top of this forum, starting with the one named "Great clothing tutorials and more". Then: - Do Robin's and Nephilaine's tee-shirt tutorials. (linked in the stickies). Sure, that's no skirt, but the principle is the same. - Download Chip's and Robin's templates. Use the one you like most, or mix them for extra fun. - Paint! For flexi skirts: Natalia's blog _____________________

What Rainwater negelected, is that if you want the skirt to sell you will need to buy an skirt generator like loop-rez, because most women think the default skirt makes their butt big. So if you dont care about max booty, she gave you all you need. If you do, then you need to so to SLexchange or SL boutique.

Thunderclap, just FYI, I used the plain LoopRez for a couple months until Ged Larsen made LoopRez Deluxe.
You can simply adjust the back skirt panels by hand. Its not that hard to do (switch to Ruler Mode = Local, then Rotate). It does take a bit of practice and patience. But believe me, its much better than the original Necklace Generator! Besides, I made almost all of my Pageant gowns by hand. I admit that LoopRez Deluxe makes things a lot easier. But it also helps to know how to adjust things manually when you need. |
