Ok folks I know I could just go ask someone to make my mate a set of eyes for her furry av she making, but she wants to make them herself. So is there a template out there to be used as a guidline? If not can anyone point out in a step by step on how to make them? And yes she wants them made so they will blink (got the script for that.. just need to know how to make the eyes)

Client>Grab Baked Texture>Iris right at the top menu options of your screen. _____________________

Leros, I noticed you said this is for a furry av. Are the eyes to be actual avatar eyes, or are they to be textured onto a prim? There's a huge difference in how to proceed, depending on which it is.
If it's normal avatar eyes, simply download the Linden eye template that Echo linked. Just be aware that due to a glitch in the system, avatar eye textures always get rotated by 90 degrees, so if for example, you're trying to make cat eyes with a vertical slit, the slit will have to be horizontal on your template. If it's prim eyes, then there are a million ways you could go. If the eyes are to be sculpted from prims, then you'll need to create textures suitable for the shapes of the individual pieces. If they're to be not sculpted themselves, but textured onto larger prims of a modeled head, then depending on the prims in use, the head texture will include the eyes as just a small part, and the larger canvas will need to be designed to wrap around the specific prims in question. If the eyes are to be animated, then it gets more complicated, as you'll need to make a framed "filmstrip" type texture to show all the different states of the animation. Your question is not a simple one. If you'd care to outline what you're goal is in more detail, then it would be possible to advise you how to proceed. As it is, it's too open ended. _____________________
