Hi, could anyone teach me how to make nice crispy textures for prim lashes or any site that I can download brushes to make this kind of textures? I don't have any fancy tools except a mouse and I found it very difficult. They just come out too thick and blurry :(

Try using an airbrush in Photoshop

Try www.ObsidianDawn.com for lash brushes. I haven't used these, but they might at least give you a starting point.

To make them by hand, I draw a slightly curved line with a soft brush, the use the smudge tool at about 50% and pull the lashes up and out making them longer at the ends.

Best,
~Ari

I recently commissioned a builder to make a set of sculpted lashes for my store. I did the textures and got great results by drawing the lashes on the alpha channel in white instead of on the regular layer in black. The main layer was filled with black as I wanted black eyelashes. This helped me achieve crisp clear textures. My blog at www.skin-within.com has a picture of the eyelashes.

Hugs,

Ayesha

Buy some false lashes and scan them?
