Help with PS cs2

I am new to making clothing and need some help with PS. I know ther are millions of links and such about guides but they do not help me. The help in PS doesnt help any either. does anyone have a video of making clothing or something that i can see what they are doing step by step and follow along instead of reading it? {Please feel free to move this to the correct forum if necessary.}

Good question. I figured people would start asking for this sooner or later. I guess now's as good a time as any to mention that I just so happen to have a project in the works as we speak for all the Photoshop video tutorials anyone could ever want (written tutorials too). I've been keeping the project fairly quiet so far since it's not ready for public launch yet (just a few key people had been aware of it before now), but since you asked, I figured I should at least mention that it's coming, so stay tuned. I'll make a pretty loud announcement when the time comes. Sorry it's not ready yet to help you now.

In the mean time, Robin Sojourner has a couple of excellent video tutorials for PS on her her website. I don't think any of them are specific to clothing, but they will help you learn some key Photoshop concepts.

Also, if you google for Photoshop video tutorials, you'll find some, but most of the ones I've seen assume you already have some basic knowledge of the program, and they're usually pretty easy to forget after watching them. I have yet to see any that really teach. That's not to say there aren't good ones out there; I just haven't found any that I thought were special.

Out of curiosity, what is it about the written tutorials that you find difficult to follow. As someone who spends a lot of time writing them, I'm always looking for feedback. Do you think it's something just with you, or do you notice a systemic problem with the way tutorials tend to be written that you think could be better?
