I have simple question please guys help me how to import a texture frm second life to my computer so I can work on it in photoshop

if the texture in your SL inventory is FULL PERMISSIONS (as in, NONE of "no copy", "no modify" or "no transfer" are showing behind its name), you open it in SL, then go to the "file" menu in the top left corner... then pick "save texture as..."

the resulting file will be TGA but will lack the proper file extension. Hence, rename it to something that ends in .tga before trying to open in PS...

I've never had that problem. The .tga extension is always there when I save an image. I wonder what you and I might be doing differently, Lance. Anyone else experiencing this?

Nope. The TGA tag is always there when I download a texture from SL. Maybe Lance has activated the option to show filenames without extensions in directories on his machine?
