hi there, I've been a builder for a while now.. maybe a year or so, and I've made some great looking things.. but one thing has allways stuck in my mind, one question I've had sence about the begining of my building days.. here goes...

I once saw someone put down two objects then drag the texture across the surface to line them up, I was wondering, do you hace to do all the lil number imputs or is there actually a command to click and drag the texture? I know if there is it's probably very basic, so keep the "lol nub!"s down to a minimum, I dont mind if it's about my grammar though :P

To get them properly stretched across two prims to match perfectly? It's all numbers really.

There are some tools to make it easier, but those are actually just doing the math within the operation of the script.

If you mean to use the same texture on one prim and easily copy it to another, there is an eyedropper tool in the texture select window that you can use.

as in you sore the texture moving across the prim as they were lining it up? try putting your mouse pointer over the number input area and use your mouse wheel, this will change the number, inputting it manually is usually easier tho IMO.
