Aloha In an attempt to save $L I'm asking this question here. I am making textures for clothing - specifically lace. Considering one repeat of the pattern - what is the ideal size of the repeat. Secondly... Should I upload the texture ad a N x M of the repeat - or just the single repeat itself? I was making a single repeat fairly large, thinking that the quality would be better, but it resulted in a repeat that was too large (e.g., a single repeat of the pattern was bigger than I wanted). So what I'm looking for is the 'ideal' size for the repeat - when thinking of a repetitive lace type cloth. mahalo

well........not an easy answer. diffrent parts of the templates scale and stretch differently. you might want to check out Chip Midnights new templates in this forum and experiment a lil bit, try different things and preview them before uploading and get a feel for where things stretch and how.
