If you recently visited my Icarus gallery in Cowell and bought a sculpture named "Orpheus in Decline," first of all, thank you. =-)
As most of my patrons know, I sell only original works, both in the sense that I have created them, and in the sense that they are the only one existing in all of Second Life (though I do keep a copy of some textures for portfolio/gallery purposes). My goal is to create something that is rare in Second Life: rarity.
When I put the sculpture up for sale, I inadvertantly set it to sell copies instead of the original. Based on my credit account, I believe that two copies of the sculpture were sold.
While having only two copies in existence is still "rare," it is not "original only" and I will gladly buy back the sculpture if you wish to return it plus L$150 for your trouble.
Alternately, I will create a new sculpture for you at no charge in exchange for your copy of Orpheus. Obviously, no additional copies of the sculpture will be sold.
I apologize for any inconvenience and would again like to thank you for your patronage.

I don't have one of your sculptures, Dmitri, at least not yet, but I'll have to come check out your place. What a stand-up way of doing business! Well done. It speaks highly of you and bodes well for your success in SL. Nice job Cutter

Thanks for the kind words, Cutter. I've identified one of the buyers - she owns the vast majority of the work I've created for SL, and quite frequently buys it before I've had a chance to display it for more than a day or two... I'm still trying to find the other buyer, though.
I'm working on building "Icarus" into a gathering place and art gallery, but it is an ever-evolving work-in-progress. My master structure is now more or less complete, but determining what to make the various areas is a bigger challenge.
I love visitors, so stop by any time!

Thanks so much, Siobhan! My conscience is greatly relieved - after looking over the account record, I can only find one person who purchased the sculpture.
However, I know there's a chance for error on my part. IF you did buy "Orpheus in Decline" and I haven't already contacted you in game, please get in touch with me and I'll fix the situation.
Thanks again for the tip, Siobhan!
