How do I search for textures in-world?

Is there some way to search for textures in-world?

Various vendors have lots of textures, but no apparent way to look for specific items.

I need, for instance, source images and/or textures of Parliament/Big Ben, in London, but beyond spending hours touching various texture vendors to look for something relevant or similar, I'm at a loss.

Suggestions? If the suggestion is "search IRL", where would you suggest?

Thank you

IRL: Google and the images tab.

Put in what you want to see, run the search as normal and there's a little link to the images search there...

This kind of detailed search in SL, not currently realistic I'm afraid, although asking here and in Products Wanted will possibly get some good results.

For textures that are generic, floors, fences, wallpaper, etc kind of things, then searching in world or on SLExchange will be where you need to go. If you want something specific like what you're looking for, definitely google images will be your best bet.

Of course you will need some sort of graphics software in order to convert the images to 256x256, 512x512, etc in size as well as make them a TGA before uploading them to the game.
