US Flag dissapeardt ,from inventory?

Hi all Im Melissa ,almost 2 years at sl. Pretty happy as it is,with SL. Found a litle flaw/misshap, i do sell some flags in my shop. But the US pic- seems to dissapear? Also in the inventory. I do have allready have a new one uploaded ,but wat is the reason behind this? I mean hé sl is US so? Be a bit proud ,my opinion  Greetings from Melissa first post ,,,,, |

hi ive been in SL for 5 years and have lost over 10,000 items. lost complete folders during updates to 1.3 if its gone you can try clear cashe and relog that works some times. but its its not in asset server (inventory) after that its gone for good nothing you can do

Hi Lightwave.
The US flag was a standard inventory item.
Like the plasma bleu, and some other textures.
It was made by Linden.
Just curius if annyone els missed it.
Or the reason?

Only lost 4 items in my 2years , pretty decent i quis.

the flag is still in the library, but bits of the library get broken for poeple (about 1/16 of them at a time) enough to notice!
That texture has UUID 18cfbfd6-ad39-11d5-9d21-00d0b7c730a8 in case you still needed it (but it seems you already uploaded a replacement).

@ Rival : youre right on my spot ,just what i mend. My flags or in Gilbut. No US flags sold yet ,so maybe you where in my region? @ Viktoria : Maybe a stupid quistion ,but how i recover it thru UUID? And what is UUID? I tried this on my inventory this evening ,but a no go.(nothin) Ahwel ,allot wiser now much regards Melissa  |

A UUID is the unique number given to a texture upon upload. It may just be the asset server. I got quite a few 'unable to add texture' messages today while building. Give it a day, it may just reconnect with the image.

And what is UUID? Sorry, I threw that out in case it was useful to you, but that depends on how you work. I went ahead and sent you a copy of the misc. textures folder from the Library. Library stuff is always OK to share, all residents are supposed to have them but again the inventory servers (it's not an asset server thing or it would be missing for everybody) do get broken :/ |

My American flag in the library, when clicked, doesn't appear, and keeps showing 0x0 as the texture size. Please do not send a replacement.
Fortunately the Blue Plasma next to it is still there. Who needs an American flag when you've got blue plasma?

That flag texture will become a must-have item one day. The moment LL releases lunar sims, it will be needed to manufacture landing evidence.
