Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find a good latex tutorial, I am quite comfortable with highlighting ect but am not quite sure how to get that plastic look to the entire outfit.
Any help would be appreciated.
Nat

plastic wrap, that creates the best way to get latex if you apply it on black with white background, just play with settings, delete. Thats how I learned it

Nat,
Some replies in your SLE thread of the same have very helpful info. Don't know if you check it often, but here's a quick link (for you as well as any others who might need this info): https://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=27259 A _____________________

Hi
We get asked a LOT for latex at TRU but the problem lies with the fact these customers want it for clothing design in world and we have learnt that the creases and shine has to be painted into the clothing template such as highlights on creases that would fall naturally on a pair of pants for example. In short, there is no such thing as a usable latex 'flat' texture that can then be applied to clothing or bedding as the reflections and creases would depend on what its to be rendered onto. If that makes sense. Its easy to make latex of random creases by using gradients much like you would made satin. I made some satin sheets which sell very well but again, their just crumpled satin flat textures. Not sure if any of this had been a help just what we have learnt from the many requests we get at TRU. _____________________

I have just made some nice latex and rubber as a custom job for a designer and i used ps cs3 but used an ACTIOn free from the net. unfortunately i dont have the link but there were plenty available. the good thing with an ACTION is you can see exactly how it was done.
http://www.actionfx.com/ Is a fantastic place and i use a lot now for good tutorials, specially now i got cs3. |
