Has anyone tips on how to make ship's sails that are tattered and torn looking? Do you use Illustrator or Photoshop?

or GIMP, or other...
You use transparency to create the bottom ragged edge, and then put it on a flexy to let it flap in the wind.
I can help you get started if you need, IM me in world. If you already have some canvas you like, it should not be too hard to add a ragged edge.
