am I going blind, or are there actually seams on the BACK of clothing when it's worn, namely, it looks like either side of the shoulder blades?? is there anyway to get around this, or should I just give up completely on having anything on the back. I did try and post a pic here, but it wouldn't let me

You mean that sort of rectangular area? That's just our craptastic mesh, it's more brutal on slender shapes :/

yup, thats the thing, did a lovely design on some clothes I made for someone, everything comes out fine
then I suddenly find the design is been ripped apart on the back. hard enough getting all the other seams to match up properly at the best of times... I just have to know, are there any more hidden seams like that one I have to look out for and try and avoid doing anything decorative on, cause the only way I see the back one been fixed, is to make it pretty plain as it seems to appear and disappear as the shoulders move

That's the idea .... keep any decoration in the middle of the back. Avoid the shoulder blades like crazy. It's one of the problem areas you just learn to live with, like the crotch.
