Recently I have gotten in the art of T Shirt Designing and Found an interest in Making Shoes. I want to Create a Tennis Shoe with Brand Name Logo on the Shoe. I look at the shoe template and i cant see how a logo fit on the template when u are looking above the template. Do i have to rotate something? Some help or a step by step list would be very much appreciated!

The real problem with what you want to do is that we can only texture one foot. The other is simply a mirror image. (Just like the sleeves on t-shirts.) So any words or logos will be mirrored on the left foot, instead of being correctly oriented on both feet. It's sad, but the only way around it is prim shoes, which is one of the reasons why they are so popular.
That being said, the "foot" is actually the foot and ankle. Picture it as a super-stretchy spandex spat that covers the top of the foot to the place the jeans end. Now, mentally take the spat off the foot, and spread it out. That's the template. Things are distorted like crazy, but the heel is at the top, and the toe at the bottom. And what you see there is the RIGHT foot, in spite of the fact that the sole looks like it should be the left. That's just another distortion of the template. So, yeah, shoe textures are doable, but they are far from simple. I'll try to put up some kind of tutorial, but it will be a while, I'm afraid. I'm still only allowed to sit at the computer for 10 min. at a time, and that's not really long enough to get much done. _____________________

Are you having RSI problems? Don't want to make light of a painful situation, but I'm hoping you'll tell me you got in trouble with a boss and he's limiting your PC access -- it's better than having nerve damage ![]() _____________________

You are most welcome, DarkFire! I'm usually around my shop somewhere, if you want to meet me in-world.
![]() I have been remiss in reading the threads here, Robin. Are you having RSI problems? LOL! No, Cindy, easier than that. I had major surgery two weeks ago today, and since I have an 8" incision in my abdomen, the doctors say no more than 10 min in front of the computer for the first two weeks, 15 for the next week, 20 for the fourth week, and then I'm on my own unless it hurts, in which case stop. I want to heal as well as I possibly can, so I'm trying very hard not to overdo it (which is difficult for me,) and to stick to their schedule. ![]() I'm already almost completely pain free. (Lots less pain than I was in before surgery from the first day out! ![]() But not quite yet. _____________________

Whew, Robin - sorry about the surgery, but it sounds like you're on the mend. I have friends who have had carpal tunnel surgery, and I was hoping you weren't going through THAT particular hell
![]() Get well soon, please? _____________________
