That’s right! I made the textures my self, by hand, and when I import the images and try to save the skin out as one part, it says the creator of the skin is how ever was the creator of the skin I was just wearing previously....

The skins properties say I am not the creator when I made the images used for textures my self.

Meaning if I was wearing a freebie skin created by Billy Bob at the time I click on edit appearance > went into skin, place in my own textures ( in all 3 slots, meaning not using ANY PART of anyone elses skin) > then saved it out, it would say Billy Bob is the creator of my new skin and not me....

At the time I am creating these skins I am at a free sandbox...

Can some one help me?

( yeah I am new to SL )

Go into your inventory, and use the menu there to create a new skin, then wear it and add your textures. The skin does not get it's creators name from the textures, but from the creator of the actual body part within inventory.

Questions on a similar note:

It appears that the "Nobody" as creator bug that occured when one created a clothing item or body part from Appearance has been fixed.

When did this happen, and are there still any exceptions to the rules?

I'm sure someone can probably dredge up an old buggy file and use that, but I have none in my inventory to test that theory with. Has anyone else investigated this?
