Issue with shirt collars in template

I have been working with t-shirt designs for about 2-3 weeks now. I'm using the Chip Midnight template for upper body. I have spent countless hours and many upload trial and errors trying to figure it out, but just cannot get shirt collars to sync. Either one part will be higher than the other, or I'll get a faded partial collar. I've read many tutorials and worked with the alpha over and over, but nothing seems to work.

I've even tried uploading the premade shirt in the template into Sl, and even then, the collar isn't properly made. I'm sure Chip did a quality job making it, so maybe there's something I'm just not noticing to making them work right. I spent about 5 hrs trying everything to get the collars to align properly, but to no avail.

Any help is very much appreciated. A different template layer, advice, anything.. I'm going nuts trying to figure this out. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Reply here, or message me in-world.

Make sure the front and back collar are both as high as they will go on the sliders, sometimes that is the problem.

well, I have tried that, too. I'm uploading the already made shirt with the alpha channels setting where the collar should go. I've max'd the sliders, too, and it still has the same problems. Also, since in preview it looks off, I don't want to upload the same faulty texture/shirt 20 times for poor results. It's really a tough spot. I'm really hoping that someone might be so kind as to donate a plain shirt template shape where the collar will appear properly. I'm just trying for simple, plain t-shirts with a regular neckline.

Upload the templates as textures, and wear them. Observe carefully where the lines match up. Make sure your collar follows one of the lines exactly.

Also, make sure you haven't inadvertantly moved anything on the template. You might want to re-download it just to be certain.
