Hi everyone,
I have a quick question.

I'm sure if the answer to this question is yes, it's stated as such in the Terms of Service and I just missed it when I re-read it this morning. However, I figured I'd just ask to make doubly sure...

Is there a restriction against using world-wide known fabric patterns on clothes that you make? Such as Fendi, Gucci, Burberry, etc?

Thanks! :)

You n search the forums and the WWW for the millions of words that have been written about this, and then decide for yousrelf. My opinion is:

If you violate someone's copyright, it is their job to contact you and tell you to stop. If you prefer to police yourself, you can. If you prefer to police other people, you are annoying.

Linden Lab will just try to stay out of it, a they should. They are like tot phone company in this case. If I read copyrighted material over the phone, it is NOT their job to stop me.

If yo have the permission from the company, NO. Alot of companyies know about SL now and I am sure some would love free advertising. So call one explain what you are doing in the same manner as if you were giving an audio persentation and hope they say yes.
Otherwise it had to be either public domain or hand created.
