OK, so i'm new to the game. I suck at it. I have lots of trouble gettign money and i also suck at making cloths. I've tried multiple things but i just can't make it work. If anyone could help me out and try to make an avatar to look like this guy it would help. (its Drizzt Do'Urden, a character from a book of R.A Salvator) edit: sorry if this is the wrong forum

One of my sidelines is making custom avatar shapes from photos. I charge 500 L for the head, or 750 for teh full body, and I'd need several pictures from different angles. I usually do it from RL photos, but no reason it couldn't be done from images of fictional characters as long as they were consistent I suppose.

Well, I've seen a few Drow skins out and about. I've even made one for an older character of mine. You can get the most basic look just by altering your the RBG vaules of your linden avatar ... however that look is dated. Hair would be the easest to start off with as long as you don't mind spending some cash, if you want to make it then thats more of a daunting task. Shop around some, there varrious styles of hair out there, fewer for men but being a Drow some woman's styles wouldn't look bad. White color should be offered on a good many of them. For the skin, I've seen a few that do spice up your default avatar skin and still allow the changing of your RBG's. However; these skins are typicaly not the best of the best on the market and usualy still look cartoonish like and what not, but are reasonably affordable. - With a little searching, there are skins made just for the Drow intrested players, they may be a little more pricey. I forgot where I found them and how much they where, but the 'find' feature is your friend! For clothing, again I'd suggest the find feature. Do a search for fantasy clothing or medieval clothing. Weapons can be found much the same way. Which remindes me, there is a Ren Fair being held in June in SL which would be a huge resource to find some fantasy/medieval type garments and accessories. Don't just go buy happy, if you search around you can peice together a reasonable avatar and save some L$. And if all else fales, I might just make one for you, however I'm extremely bussy in SL and even working to perfect my avatar once again . It's a never ending process.

Ello Matt for the male drow appearance i can recommend the hair called "Breezy" and "Coy" from ETD in the Couture Sim. (breezy is a ponytail and coy is a ponytail resting on the shoulder) I made my own drow skins and have recently put them up for sale with and without glowing tattoos, you're welcome to contact me ingame or come see what they look like Also, if you're interested in roleplaying a drow you may want to contact Liam Candour, he is the leader of an active drow group that lives in one of the Elf Clan's sims - Eeron Kilian - prettyboy drow extraordinaire... or something
