HI all, I'm trying to design a shirt using the templates, but since it's more geared to Photoshop, I'm having trouble. I want to create a textured shirt with a picture logo and text. If anyone can explain how to use this with a Paintshop Pro explaination, I'd greatly appreciate it. I made a shirt and it did not work at all....the text and logo kept going around and around the front and back of the shirt.

Hi Josette. Welcome to the world of clothing design. 3 questions for you before I can help: First, what version of PSP are you using? The principles are the same, but the specific instructions will vary a bit from version to version. Second, have you read the fashion design guide that comes with the templates? If you haven't your really should. It will go a long way towards getting you started. I always recommend people read it and then come back with any specific questions about anything they don't understand. Third, can you post a snapshot of what you've already done. I've got a few theories on what "around and around the front and back of the shirt" might mean, but I'd like to see it before I respond to make sure I'm addressing the right problem.

PSP can open Photoshop files - download the official templates for the clothing parts you're interested in, open them in PSP, and have a look through the Layers in each template. Design within the guidelines available on the relevant guide layers, and it'll fit. SL clothing is not as simple as Cafepress's "we stick your photo on the front of the shirt" system, but it means you're able to create whole items of clothing rather than just customizing a plain stock garment.

Thanks for your responses, guys. I use PSP v. 8.1 Unfortunately, I no longer have that texture, but if I mess up another one, I'll take a pic of it and post it here. I have download the info on fashion design. I'm going to go through it again. Thanks for your help.
