Having trouble with making straps, v necks, low cut stuff.

Having trouble making straps, all thefancy stuff. Low cuts on shirts. cuts outs. all that good stuff. i know the basics. other stuff. everytime i try upload it it don't work. it just shows black. on the shirts. pants. can someone help me! I'm not very good with Tutorail.

Sounds like you didn't save the alpha map.

You need to set up am alpha chanel in your Photoshop or other graphics app, and save it as 32 bit .tga (Targa) format. If you save as 24 bit .tga, the areas that should be transparent might well appear as black. Look at the head of this forum for a sticky thread aboyt alpha chanels and transparency.

I did save it. detele it! Do I make a new mask layer. I'm using PSP 10 I understand it better than photoshop.

I find that in PSP, the simplest way to create your alpha (assuming that you're just making cutout portions of the clothing, not see-thru or semi-transparent fabric) is to select the parts of the image that should be transparent with the magic wand, then in the 'Selections' menu, Invert the selection (this means that everything BUT the parts that are to be transparent will be selected), and then (again, under the selections menu) choose 'Load/Save Selection,' and then 'Save selection to alpha channel.'

I use PSP9 but it should be very similar. If not, let me know and I'll check out PSP10 for you.
