Looking for Bandana - Biker style

Hello! Im new to the game and thought I'd start out by saying "Thanks!" to all the great people in SL. So far I've met nothing but great people willing to help out. Someday I hope to learn enough to be able to help others as well.

Ok back to the bandana. My avatar is a 'harley' biker type and as you know this game as alot of motorcycles. But for the life of me I dont understand why no one is selling bandanas. I searched for hours on end. I even looked for a pirate costume to buy just so I could get a bandana but no luck. I'll keep looking this weekend but if I dont find one I guess I'll have to hit the books and figure out how to make one.

Hi there and welcome to sl... Unfotunetly there are many clothing problems with sl.. Mostly seams and conforming clothing.

A bandana would have to be done with a prim..i have seen a few but not many. Cause it would not be able to cover the hair well it goes right thru..same with hats an so on..

But Keep looking they are out there.

This reminds me of when I was looking for a ceiling fan for my build. I looked everywhere for one for sale and could not find one anywhere. I looked for a couple of days and finally just gave up and made one myself. Thats the beauty of SL, if you cant find it, you can make it.

I recently noticed a 'pirate lass' outfit in the luna mall that had the sort of bandana i believe you are looking for. I cannot recall the creator, but it should be easy enough to find - perhaps that person can help you out.

Blah I buy one of those pirate outfits because it says it includes a bandana. On the packing list it shows a bandana but then after I buy it I find out the main part of the bandana is part of the hat and the 'tail' part of the bandana is separate. In other words, there is no bandana. 400 LD down the tubes. Probably not alot for most of ya but for us newbs it is. Guess I'll have to try and make one myself. So please sellers, dont list items individually that ARENT individually separate from the other pieces of clothing. It would be like me selling a tie that is stuck to a shirt. Ok I feel better. Maybe I'll contact the seller and ask for a refund.

Actually, the way clothing currently works in SL, ties in fact often do need to be part of a shirt.

Do speak to the merchant; you will find that most are quite amenable to returns or helping you better understand how to make use of what you did get.
