How to make a transparent Texture with PSP XI

Is there anyone out there that could tell me how to make a transparent texture using PSP XI ?
Also is there anyone that has tips or a guide how to make clothes with PSP XI ?

Sorry it's a little hard to read since LL turned off bbCode on the forums, but you should be able to get through it. Just ignore the visible code tags.

Note that since that guide was written, SL's capabilities have expanded to include support for PNG as a source image format. So if you want to use simple transparency with PNG instead of learning how to use alpha transparency for TGA, you can. I just haven't had time to update the guide to say as much. I still recommend using alpha transparency even though simple transparency is, well, simpler, but both options are there for you.


Go to the downloads section of this site, grab the template collection, and read the instructions that go with it. If there's anything specific you don't understand, ask.

You're not likely to get anyone to say "Here's how you make clothes, from A to Z", as that could take years to type up. But for specific answers to specific questions, you'll find this forum to be very helpful.
