Hi again all  First of all, yes I'm gonna join! *do a little dance* Second - my main question here today is, how do you make jewelry? Actually, are there any manuals anywhere on making stuff? How do you designers start? Do you read something, or do you take things apart to the nucleus, find out how they work and jot everything down? I want to design something, and I think my venue is going to be jewelry  *Excited* It just seems there's a lot to learn! Textures and stuff. Help  |

Voila. Jewelry. Sure, it may be a plywood cube, but that should be a good start for ya.

Ehhe, pardon me! The problem is: 1. I dont know how to make a prim. 2. I know nothing about textures and making shapes.... Guess I should settle for plywood jewelry  Beautiful. |

I understand your fustration. Go to a Creating 101 class and there you will learn how to make a prim and attach a texture. Textures you can make with programs such as Photoshop and then bring in world. I would be more than happy to walk you through a couple of things sometime. IM me in world.

hey, I'm also learning how to create jewelry, i plan to hopefully make a shop and sell jewelry as well..I know a small bit about making jewelry and have some basic shapes that attach as bracelets/necklaces i made so far, so if you'd like them maybe they'd help. Maybe we can start a jewelry shop together  Anyway if you need any help just IM me in world =) |
