Need HELP w/clothes/photoshop/gimp

Hi, I've just this year started SL and loving it. Now I want to design clothes and build things. I have a trial version of PhotoShop and am getting Gimp. I know how to open the template for things, like say upper body for a shirt, but after that I totally do not have a clue as to what to do with it. Is there anywhere that there are easy step by step instructions for someone who has never used these programs before? Or is there anyone out there that could somehow walk me thru it untill I get the hang of it? Any help what so ever would be so appreciated! Thanks

If you download the textures pack on the main Second Life site, there should be a .pdf file called 'Using the SL Fashion design templates'. I want to make a carnival costume for my avatar, and I've found this really helpful.

It explains alot about alpha levels for transparency and the file formats you need. I just followed what they said, and the bikini top is pretty much complete!

Thanks Cyra for the info. I went to the SL sight, but all I can find is individual textures to download, not the texture pack. I tried downloading just one of the textures, but doesn't come with that .pdf file. I'll search more for it. Any additional info would be great tho!
