How do I pull a texture out of SL so I can edit it in photoshop?

GOOD DAY TO YOU RAIL! :D

Making your first post here on the SL Forums too, I see!

Here's how. FIRST make sure the texture has full permissions... that means in inventory, it must NOT have (no copy), (no modify), nor (no transfer) next to it.

When that's good to go, doubleclick the texture so it's opened up and viewed nicely on your screen.

From FILE menu choose SAVE TEXTURE AS, and select a location to save it to along with a requisite name. Wait a few moments as the bar across the bottom tells you it's being received then FILE SAVED. It will then be a TGA that you can then open up in Photoshop!

Thanks Torley.

I can't belive I missed it. So much stuff in SL is done in the 3D enviroment I often forget there is a menu.

Welkies... and this is a really good point about the interface too.

Come to think of it, why isn't there a SAVE TEXTURE AS button in the actual texture window? HMMM!
