I was building a house and built some Fireplaces with a Linden Flame set I had...The packaging system doesn't like the full-perm Flames I assume...SO......
I decided to just create my own, But I can't find anywhere that sells or has a Flame texture like what was used on the Linden Flame...I did a search here on the forum but...lots of great info but no texture...
The one I have uses a 1024x1024 16 cell Flame texture...I found the one in my inv but it is a 512x512 and just doesn't look as good...Does anyone know where to buy a copy of a texture similar to the Linden Flame one???
TY for any Help...

There is absolutely no reason why the free Linden texture that is in the various free torches and fireplaces should have any issues with your rezzer system. It's just a texture, and it's full perms. A work-around should be completely unnecessary.

Sorry Ceera...I was using the full perm flames that eric linden made that the rezzor seemed to have problems with...
I just need the 1024x1024 texture that makes it work...I have the 512x512 version
Ty

The Eric Linden flames use a 512 x 1024 texture of 16 animation cels. That texture is in the contents of each flame prim, and is named "lit_texture".

Thanks Ceera, But I looked at mine and it only has the texanim script in the contents of the flames...I will have to look around for a different copy so I can grab the texture... But now that I know it shouldn't be to hard to find...

Sent you my "Fire for fireplace 2.0 - with local light" item, which has the texture and some good scripts embedded in it. Feel free to re-use and redistribute it.

you can buy the Outy particle kit for fire as well. It is well worth the money. You can manipulate the fire in a tonne of ways, and that's particles, no prims at all. Search for Outy's Particle Paradise. There are a tonne of locations.
