I wish SL would implement a way to try an object (clothing, or whatever,) before purchasing it in game. More than once I've bought something and have been disappointed at the actual item. Another game I've played lets you try something for two minutes before it returns back into source inventory. I think this would help us all as designers and buyers.

There are some vendors that show you a preview of an object so that the buyer can see the product before buying it. I use the Bosvendor for this exact purpose. However, as far as I know clothing cannot be previewed but can at least be seen by the pictures displayed.

Unfortunately this doesn't help with clothing. My avatar is modeled after my RL build, so I have a bit of "love" about my midsection. Lots of male clothing is apparently created for little emo boys like Damien (

) so it looks bad when translated onto someone large like meself. A try-on would be most beneficial for me.

Pfft. I've been dying for this option since I started the game in November. I think I've even mentioned it on a thread or two.

Any Lindens out there listening/reading? Is this something that can be implemented in a future upgrade?
