Hello
I'm really struggling to get textures looking correctly and working as I want when working with cylinders, can any one give me any tips or advice on this?
Thanks. Becks.

Depends on what exactly you are trying to do. Can you be more specific?

Select your face, multiply whatever texture you are looping x4 on the correct axis, about it really.

Depending on how tall the cylinder is, and the size of your texture, you'll probably find that repeating a texture wither 3 or 4 times horizontally will look about right.
And don't try using "Planar" texturing on the curved sides of a cylinder, or on the curved surface of a round hollow in a prim. Planar mapping is only good on flat surfaces. Fine for the flat ends of a cylinder, but no good on the curved sides.
