textures are blurry after upload

I've been making plants for a loooong time (with alpha channels, of course) but I've noticed in the last month or two that my new textures look blurry after I upload them. My old plant textures still look fine. I am applying the same filters, yadda yadda as before so I'm confused as to where this blurriness is coming from. Has there been some change in how SL uploads textures that is causing this?

Most likely it's just the the asset servers performing slowly. When you upload an image, SL creates four versions of it, in progressive levels of detail. Ideally, it takes just a few seconds for all four to be accessible. Sometimes, though, it can take as long as 24 hours or so. If an image is blurry, check it again a day later. Chances are it will get better.

If that's not what's going on, and this is a persistent problem, then I'm not sure what to tell you. Video driver issue, perhaps?

If you haven't upgraded your video card for a loooong time either, maybe that could be part of the explanation?
