Things people use for clothes making

Ok so right now i have PS, Lightwave and Avpainter.. i think thats pretty right for making clothes, but am i missing anything that people use for making clothess?

What do you guys out there usee?

You already have more than you really need, but that's a nice toolbox. I do everything with Photoshop, myself.

I use PSP and AVpainter and thats it (besides templates of course)

edit: sorry also have sculptypaint which I do make a few things with

I use the Gimp, and usually an OpenSim. I also have UVMapper, and a couple of other previewers, but I find OpenSim more useful.

First of all, it's free! LOL!
Photoshop is expensive!

highlights.

What does AV painter do?

Is there such a thing as painting directly onto a 3d av for skin or clothing creation? Wouldn't that be great, at any rate.

It basically allows you to see the uv template in 3D and you can paint in basic colors.
It's helped me understand things in 3D whole lot better.
I tried UVmapper I didn't understand how to use it.
I use PS, AVpainter, UV templates and few other templates to get shadows, etc I am still learning but I have figured out there are things I can do with av paint using flaming pear, different textured layers and eraser tool in Avpainter
