I have searched the forums and could not find any information for something I would like to do. I am using Photoshop Elements 4, but have been able to learn from all the information that has been given. Now to my question, does any one know how to curve text around an object? I have looked at my manual and all it talks about it the ability to slant it. If this has been asked elsewhere, just point me in the right direction and you have my thanks. Kat

Are you talking about curving around a 3D or a 2D object? I don't know how one would curve around a 3D object, but if it's 2D, you should be able to use a combination of warp (Edit: Transform: Warp) and perspective (Edit: Transform: Perspective) to get it to where you want it. If you do the text on several different layers, you can also use rotate (Edit: Transform: Rotate) to get each word or letter roughly where you want it, and use the other tools for fine adjustments.
Note that I have no idea what tools Elements has, but I'm assuming it at least has rotate.

Thanks very much Ceres, I will look and see. Yes, I am able to rotate. Just wanted to do more, hehe, seems I am always wanting to do more than I know how. Thanks again for your reply.

If PS, you can draw a path with the pen tool, and then type on the path. The text flow will follow shape of the path perfectly. PSE might be able to do the same thing. Check the help documentation for "text on a path".

Found out how to warp text

Thanks very much Chosen, that got me to look in right place and found how to do what I am wanting to do. My biggest problem was I was calling it 'curve' and it is under 'warp'. Everyone is so great to help not only me but everyone else learn to think in the right way. Amusing how using the right words help find what one is looking for . Thanks again to Chosen and Ceres for you replies. They both helped me lots. Kat
