Does anyone know a good tutorial for using PS cs2? Id like to try designing clothes and tattoos but dont even know where to begin. I did find one but I was lost at step 2, must have been for a different version than I have. Please help! lol

i found a nice beginner book at Barnes and Nobles for $10
it is in the series "in easy steps" they have um on all sorts of stuff so far it has helped me a great deal with the basics |

Be forewarned, the learning curve is rather steep, not because photoshop is poorly written, but because image manipulation may be the hardest task you have done on a computer.
Chip Midnight has also made widely acclaimed, free templates for SL clothes design but you should probably get your feet wet in basic photoshop first. |

Thanks for all your help but I think maybe I was a bit misunderstood, I am looking for a tutorial on how to make clothes for SL and also tattoos. Ive got the jist of photoshop, plus it came with a really good help my friend installed on my comp as well. Id be willing to pay someone to teach me.... I did save those links though for future reference, thanks

I have made a few shirts but they were nothing spectacular, just my beginners. I simply put color and added some words.... baby steps.... lol

Well, after much searching and talking to a friend of mine, he put Photoshop 7 on my comp, much easier to use, gave me a bunch of addons for it. I did the tutorials, got the jist of it, made a few really cool things with it. Thanks everyone for your help!

I"m a big fan of the Visual Quickstart Guide series (for whatever software & version applicable) as well as the H.O.T. (Hands On Training) series and the WOW! books too.
I have the Visual Quickstart for Photoshop CS at my elbow for when I run into the wall. I have CS, not CS2, but if you reload yer CS2, I'd be willing to see what's the same on my version, look me up inworld! _____________________
