Is it possible to make an animated liquid mercury texture?

Hi, would it be possible to make an animated liquid mercury (or quicksilver) texture that looks like a fluid liquid?

Could you use LSL to use specific animations depending on the angle of the container? Such as at 0 degrees (Flat it us just flat, but if going to >180, use an animation that is flowing in that direction, using diff anims every.. 5 or 10 degrees or so, until you have it so it is just at the end.. It wouldn't be exact, and not a tiny script I wouldn't think, but it would work, yeah? I could be wrong, I don't know LSL very well lol...
