I have been following the advice in the forum pracicrd until I now have selleable womens clothing. Thank you guys Love you all. Here is the problem I am having. I finaly worked up the nerve to make some mens cloths and the shirts keep comming up short. I have created a male shape for then wil long torso thinking that might be the problem. But still when I give them to other the shirt is exposing the belly ending just below the ribs. Can anyone tell me why ir if there is a fix for this?

Torso length will not affect it. Shirts stretch and shrink according to the underlying torso settings. So, a shirt that stops at the belly button will always stop there no matter what avie it is on.
If the shirt you are dealing with stops just under the ribs, I can think of two things to check right off the bat. First, in appearance mode, make sure you didn't inadvertently set the shirt to be short via the sliders. Make sure the length is at 100. Also, make sure you don't have an alpha channel cutting the shirt short in the original photoshop/source file.
Those are first two things I'd check.
On the other hand, if you shirt is actually at 100 length, it's possible that you have pants that aren't full height, so you might want to investigate that. There was a recent thread about someone who was having trouble finding full height pants for men (which seems odd to me!) Anyway, that's another possibility.
Cheers!

You need two parts...

If you want a shirt that extends down as far as men's shirts often do, it has to be made in two parts, an upper-body part and a lower-body part. To see what I mean, create a shirt in the basic clothing designer, and set it to 100% length; that's as long as a shirt can be without a lower body section.
You can package the two sections to wear together as one item, as SL jackets often are. But you need two textures.
