I have found dozens of tutorials for creating hair textures in Photoshop, but I cannot find any for Paint Shop Pro. Most of the tools are the same EXCEPT for the motion blur which does not have the same settings and can apparently not create as "long" of a blur. I follow the Photoshop tutorials, but when I get to this point I hit a brick wall. Paint Shop's motion blur only has the ability to blur a distance of about 90 or so pixels (it's set by percentages)...not the 800 to 900 I'm looking for. Does any one know of any solutions to this or can anyone point me to a tutorial? I've also tried just repeating the blur over and over, but it doesn't create the same hair-like texture. Thanks.

How about starting with a smaller texture, and then stretching it to the size you need? I don't have PSP on this machine anymore, or I'd experiment with other methods. But stretching seems, at least in theory, like it would do the trick.

Thanks. I have done some experimenting with your suggestion, but I still am unable to achieve the look I'm going for. Until I have the funding to purchase Photoshop I'll still be looking for more suggestions.
