Help with Photo Shop Elements!!!

I need Help Putting Transparent Layers into my clothing....If know one knows anything about elements let me know of a program that would be easier...thanks

You might like to start in the sticky about transparencies at the top of the fourm... it's not at the top, but the second post contains information about making transparencies in PSE.

PSE doesn't really support alpha channels, you have to trick it around. The GIMP and Photoshop (the real one, but even old versions that you can buy cheap) are the two big contenders. Windows users also mention Paintshop Pro and there was recently a comment about Paint.net which is also free and windows only.

If you want to hunt for other things... you need something that will 1) open .psd files, because the templates come that way, save as 24 and 32 bit targas. After that, it's choices about tools and interface really.

I have had success making alpha transparencies using Photoshop Elements, thanks to the tuturial help above. This bald eagle photo is and example. More photos here: Bald Eagles

I have also had similar success using Graphic Converter (shareware software) available for Mac's only. It does not do layers but it will do targa files with and alpha channel, to make the transparancies.
