Alright, I'm a real noob and I've come to terms with it. I have been buying a few things, but when I go to "Attach" or "Wear" them, I just end up with a box on my head. Can anybody point me in the right direction so I can use the goods I purchased?

Drag the box from inventory to the ground. Right click the box and choose Edit from the pie menu. Click the More button, then the Content tab. Listed in there you should see your new clothing. Drag the clothing from the Content to your inventory. Now you can choose it from your inventory and click Wear.
